Senior Consultant Paediatrician | Specialist in General Paediatrics & Paediatric Neurology
Dr. K. Raghavan is a highly esteemed Senior Pediatrician with extensive expertise in general pediatrics and pediatric neurology. His specialization encompasses the diagnosis and management of rare pediatric conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and various behavioral disorders. Additionally, Dr. Raghavan has profound experience in treating complex genetic disorders such as muscular dystrophies and other rare inherited diseases.
After earning his MBBS degree in 1990, Dr. Raghavan pursued his MD in Pediatrics in 1993. He further enriched his clinical expertise through advanced training at prestigious institutions, including Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore, Apollo Hospitals Greams Road Chennai, and the Institute of Child Health (ICH). His commitment to research led him to serve as a Project Officer for the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) under the “Res Air Project” and as a Documentation Officer for the U.S. AIDS Program.
Dr. Raghavan broadened his global medical perspective by completing a Fellowship in Sydney, Australia, before moving to the United Kingdom. There, he achieved both Membership and Fellowship from the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) and completed his foundational specialty training in behavioral medicine. His international experience includes serving as a consultant pediatrician in the UK.
An avid researcher, Dr. Raghavan has presented 22 scientific papers at prominent national and international conferences, contributing significantly to advancements in paediatric care. His diverse expertise and unwavering dedication make him a trusted authority in paediatric healthcare.
